Military Themed Retirement Cards

Hi Smithies,
Today I have three Military Themed Retirement cards.  The cards could easily be changed up for Fourth of July....  just change out the sentiment.  I used images from the U.S.A. Patriotic Full Sheet.  Lots of Patriotic fun in this set!  I used the Eagle emblem and Uncle Sam images on my cards.

Have a great crafty day!

Friendship

Hello
I would like to share another card that I was thrilled to see in the pages of Stampington & co's Catch-Up Issue.
This card is a quick make with a cute stamp from Thank Heaven For Little Girls #2 taking centre stage. I also made use of a word from the Say It With Flair plate, such a useful plate to own.

Elegance

Hello Everyone
This post is to share a card that I was thrilled to see was published in Stampington & co's Catch-Up 2012.
The focal image is a beautiful flapper from Flapper # 1.  If you are someone who adores the style of this era then you definitely need to have a look at Estelle's Flapper stamp sheets as she has three different plates of stamps available and of course not only that, she also has a few single stamps depicting Flappers.
Did you know that The Stampsmith Challenge is underway? For June the challenge set by the team is Humorous Birthdays. Visit TSC Blog to read details for entering your artwork and view the samples made by The Stampsmith DT.

Jane Austen card with The Stampsmith

Hi Smithies!
Have you checked out the Floral Alphabet set?  I am finding all kinds of possibilities for this set.  I thought the Letter "A" reminded me of Jane Austen.  I also used the Botanic Full Sheet for the background.  The large flower was stamped with soft colors and the "A" stamped with black dye ink.  I made three versions.

Don't Box Her In

Hello Everyone
Ophelia is possibly the most recognisable of all The Stampsmith stamps, coming in different forms, click the link to see just how many variations there are on this stunning stamp. I selected the large, facing right version to adorn a plain box.
In a former life this box was a  presentation style box for a necklace/pendant, it was ripe for altering.
As well as Ophelia I also used a stamp from the Cartolina Postale set. This is a wonderful set of stamps not only to use to create faux vintage style postcards but to add background details, etc on artwork. Here I used one of the stamps to stamp directly onto the edges of the box and then layering with beautiful lace.
There are  details on how I decorated the box at my blog, Adorn.
Did you know that the new Stampsmith Challenge is underway? We are asking that for the month of June you create Humorous Birthday artwork to share with us. As always at the end of the month one winner will be randomly selected with the prize of $21 to spend at The Stampsmith store on stamps of your own choice.
Happy Stamping.
